The Team

Dragon Classics Workshop was created through the dynamic partnership of Richard, Arwel and Geriant. Since 2012, the trio has been working together in the restoration of Citroen HY Vans. The team brings together a wealth of knowledge and experience, which can be seen in each vehicle restored at the workshop.

Richard Durrant

Shop Lead

At the age of 14, Richard caught the mechanics bug. Building Motorbikes, Mini’s, Triumph TR7’s, Spitfires, MGB’s, Rally Cars, Autograss racing, Land Rovers, even American Classics. Basically as long as it has an engine and wheels, vehicles of all shapes and sizes have been through Richard’s hands including a couple of crashes!

Given this vast amount of experience, there is not much that Richard has not come across and is able to offer sound advice and guidance, and is able to fix any problem that comes through the workshop door.

Arwel Evans

Fabrication Specialist

Growing up on a farm, Arwel started working with a wide range of machinery at a very young age. By 15, he was already hired by agricultural contractors to repair and maintain a wide range of equipment.

Somewhere between then and now, he focused on creating high quality bespoke wrought iron gates and railing. With a bit of chance, Arwel was hired by a motor home and catering conversion company that specialized in Citroen H vans, and since then he's been hooked.

Geraint

Engine Specialist

Geraint also grew up on a farm., but instead of going into a career of welding and serving vehicles, he focused on engines. Through his early life he loved working on race cars. And by focusing on those, his ability to strip down engines and rebuild them, became second nature. Some say he even sleeps with one by his side.

And just like Geraint, we'll keep this bio short and sweet. Well, hmm.
